We are a caring pediatric clinic offering a full range of pediatric services for ages birth through 18 years of age. Established since 1984 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we have been growing up with Tulsa and its surrounding communities for over 35 years. Young People's Clinic (YPC) offers a whole patient care approach including Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) and Cranial Sacral Therapy for patients, professional lactation services for mothers and their newborns, routine developmental assessments during well child visits and sports physicals, as well as standard care in behavioral medicine for school age children. Our staff works closely together to maintain continuity of care between providers and to follow up when patients are referred to specialists and ancillary therapies.
We keep appointment times open every day to see our patients who are acutely ill, and to help them in our clinic by utilizing rapid diagnostic testing and in office medications when needed. We offer routine childhood vaccinations, and in the fall months we offer preservative free influenza vaccine.
Dr. Hart is available to care for our families' newborns who are born at St. John Medical Center and Hillcrest South. For infants born under the care of a midwife at home or in a birthing center, we will see these newborns at 24 hours of age in our office. At that time we can help complete some of the necessary assessment and care needed for healthy newborns that is usually offered in the hospital nursery, such as drawing a newborn metabolic screen, Vitamin K and Hepatitis B administration, monitoring jaundice and weight loss, and referring to audiology for the newborn hearing screen. Infant circumcision is also available from Dr. Hart after the first exam is complete and Vitamin K administration has been verified.
